2016 District 60 Spring Conference and International Speech Contest

Competing against eight other extremely accomplished speakers, our very own Ted Lyberogiannis had won the District 60 International Speech Contest on April 16th, 2016 at the District 60 Spring Conference. His speech titled “The Arms of Society” proved to be a crowd favorite.This is a tremendous accomplishment. Congratulations Ted!

What does this win mean for Ted? Nothing short of competing against the best in the world at the International conference being held in Washington DC this August!

Our very own Ted Lyberogiannis placed 1st out of 7 contestants at the Division I International Speech Contest on March 21st, 2016! He will be competing at the District 60 competition on April 16th, 2016.

2015 Club Humorous Speech Contest

The Humorous Speech Contest allows members to explore the art of using humor in public speaking. Lots of laughs were exchanged at this year’s event. Congratulations and many thanks to our winner, Ted Lyberogiannis, the runner-up, Kevin Hanley, and the contestants, Nathan Cox and Thomas Tang.

2015 Club Table Topics Contest

The Table Topics Contest is an annual event at the Trinity Club that encourages the development of impromptu speaking skills. It provides an excellent opportunity for members to challenge themselves and to learn from the more proficient speakers. This year’s winner, Mark Ciufo, will represent the club at the Area Contest, which will be held at our club location, 483 Bay St., Toronto, on October 14th, 2015. Congratulations to our winner, Mark Ciufo, the runner-up, Matthew Devine, and our contestants, Bikram Johal and Judy Singh.
